Why continue to live in a representative democracy? Too many of our "representatives" don't work for the people, but only for themselves and their families.
As a former career soldier and elite non-commissioned officer, I've always been accustomed to following rules and regulations. Certainly, some were excessive, but many others were fair.
I also worked as a trainer (teacher) at IFAPME in Huy-Waremme for 10 years.
The military instilled in me a strong sense of teamwork, and I learned something essential for life and for the world: if we work together, if we help each other, we can be stronger and more powerful.
We must put an end to this system that creates individualistic people and bring back mutual support and cooperation. I sincerely believe that unity will restore to us, the Belgian people, a power that has been stolen from us for far too long.
We must put an end to this system that creates conflict among citizens. Our leaders are applying the historical adage "divide and rule." We must move beyond this logic!
Let's ask ourselves: Is it better to rule over a people? Or to create a healthy and prosperous environment for that people and thus move forward together?
The Revolution! movement is, for me, the best alternative so that we, the people, can take control of the country by empowering the people through a participatory system, where everyone can finally have their say. From there, we will be responsible for our decisions.
Let's stop tearing each other apart; it's time to unite!
