Revolution: putting humanity back at the heart of society!
People hate politicians because they no longer listen to them. People hate political parties because they no longer defend the interests of the people. Faced with this reality, a revolution is necessary! The time has come to put people back at the heart of political decisions and the management of the country.
Why do so many citizens no longer believe in politics?
This question arose naturally during our latest Political Bureau meeting. As the discussions unfolded, one thing became clear: what many Belgians reject today is not politics itself. What they reject is a political system they consider distant from their concerns, disconnected from the realities of everyday life and too often more concerned with its own survival than with the common good.
It is precisely from this observation that the citizen movement Révolution was born.
Révolution is neither left-wing, right-wing nor centrist. It does not seek to reproduce the methods of traditional political parties. It brings together citizens from very different backgrounds who nevertheless share the same conviction: our country can regain a future provided that human beings are placed back at the heart of every decision.
Politics, in its noblest sense, is nothing more than the organisation of life in society. It belongs to each and every one of us. It should never be confiscated by a handful of professionals or reserved for an elite.
The soul of Révolution is first and foremost an awakening
The realisation that citizens are not condemned to endure.
The realisation that a people who regain confidence in themselves can once again become masters of their own destiny.
The realisation that change will not come from a providential leader, but from thousands of women and men determined to reclaim their place in democratic life.
Our movement brings together workers, self-employed people, parents, pensioners, students, entrepreneurs, civil servants and citizens of every origin and conviction. What unites them is not their background, but their determination to build rather than resign themselves.
Our ambition can be summed up in just a few words:
Building a happier Belgium.
Some will consider this ambition utopian. Others will see it as nothing more than another slogan.
We, on the contrary, see it as a profoundly realistic objective.
Collective happiness cannot simply be decreed. It must be built. It is born from a fairer, freer and more united society in which everyone regains their dignity, responsibility and rightful place.

This sentence perfectly summarises the spirit of Révolution.
Our movement has never claimed to have all the answers. Its purpose is not to guide the people from the top of a political pyramid. It seeks to move forward alongside them, to listen, build, propose and act together.
Two different journeys, the same determination
At the origin of this citizen-led endeavour are two personalities with very different backgrounds, but driven by the same determination.
Laurent Louis
Laurent Louis, a former federal Member of Parliament, experienced the institutions from the inside. His experience led him to conclude that the current political system could no longer be reformed through minor adjustments and that another way of returning power to citizens had to be imagined.
Laurence Kayser
Laurence Kayser, a gynaecologist, chose to defend her convictions independently, despite the difficulties this may have caused. Her commitment is based on a deep belief in individual responsibility, dialogue and respect for every human being.
The meeting of these two journeys gave rise to a shared conviction: it was no longer enough to denounce the failings of the system. An alternative had to be built.
This is how Révolution was born
Not as a traditional political party, but as a citizen movement seeking to bring together all those who reject resignation and still believe that the people can reclaim their place in shaping the future.
Our true strength does not lie in a handful of leaders.
It lies in every citizen who refuses to give up.
In every woman and every man who decides to become involved.
In every person who understands that democracy does not merely consist of voting every five years, but of actively participating in the life of society.
The true revolution will not begin on the day a new government comes to power. It will begin on the day citizens regain confidence in themselves, take their destiny into their own hands and understand that together, they can transform their country.
That is the ambition of Révolution.
Not to promise miracles, but to rekindle hope.
A happier Belgium cannot simply be decreed; it must be built, day after day, by citizens who refuse to remain spectators of their own future!
